Get Excited to Visit the Beautiful Down Under | Melbourne & Sydney Virtual Tour
To aid in your Australia trip planning, let’s take a virtual tour of the country’s two most populous cities, Sydney and Melbourne!
Fun Fact
Did you know Qantas Airways (QF) Flight 22 is currently the world’s fifth-longest flight? Yep, their service between Dallas, Texas, and Australia’s second-most populous city, Melbourne, is nearly 17.5 hours!
But don’t worry; Qantas is renowned for its exceptional service and comfortable flights, so you’ll be well taken care of during this long journey.
Don’t let the long flight deter you from visiting Australia, arguably the most visited country in the Southern Hemisphere! In this post, we’ll explore Australia’s two largest cities, offering a photographic glimpse of the vibrant culture, stunning landscapes, and unique experiences that await you. Get ready to be inspired!
What to Do in Melbourne
Melbourne is the capital of the Australian state of Victoria and its second-most-populous city. I’ve spent a few days here, and my highlights include the Yarra River Cruise and the Melbourne Skydeck. Melbourne has a beautiful skyline and Central Business District (CBD).
If you want to get away from tourists and touristy experiences, Melbourne may be better suited than Sydney!
What to Do in Sydney
My personal favorite, Sydney, needs no introduction. When a picture of the city’s iconic opera house and nearby harbor bridge is displayed, it is effortless to spot Australia’s largest city.
There are too many highlights to point out; Taronga Zoo, Sydney Opera House, and Featherdale Wildlife Park were some of our favorites. The wildlife park is where you can feed kangaroos, which is an experience everyone should try in their lifetime!
There’s a lot to do in Sydney, which is why it seems more popular with tourists!
Also, have you had an interactive experience with kangaroos?
Final Thoughts on Australia
If you need more than petting and feeding a kangaroo to convince you to visit Australia, I can’t conceptualize why! It’s an incredible experience, and those are the ones you need.
Have you been to Australia? If so, let me hear about your experience! If not, let me know what I can do to help you get to Australia as safely and cheaply as possible!
